La Roue est un voyage qui à duré trois années au cœur de différentes zones de production en fruits et légumes autour de l’Europe : Au "Gourbi de Berre", un bidonville rural où logent à l'année une soixantaine d'hommes, tous employés dans l'agriculture intensive sous contrat OMI (Office des Migrations Internationales). Au Maroc, anciens saisonniers agricoles, futurs saisonniers agricoles potentiels et saisonniers agricoles malades cohabitent. On dit que le nombre d’ouvriers agricoles touchés par diverses maladies professionnelles sera aussi important que le nombre de malades atteints par l'amiante dans quelques années. Dans les douars marocains, les jeunes ne rêvent que d'une chose : émigrer en France. Mis à part le lieu commun, le contrat OMI (Office des Migrations Internationales) permet à grand nombre d’entre eux d'envisager le voyage.
