Du 23 au 26 octobre , Dita Von Teese monte sur la scène du Crazy Horse afin d’offrir pour la première fois à Paris, 8 représentations exceptionnelles de son numéro inoubliablement sensuel et déjà mythique outre-Atlantique : Le Bain. Ce numéro s’inscrit dans la plus pure tradition du Crazy Horse. Le tout Paris des années 50, déjà, plongea - plus de 1500 fois ! - dans les ablutions merveilleusement polissonnes d’une danseuse à la grâce troublante : Candida. The burlesque striptease artist, Dita Von Teese, famous above all because she is the wife of rock star Marylin Manson, performed completely naked at the Parisian striptease temple Crazy Horse thus fulfilling a dream that she had been nurturing for many years. The new owners of Crazy Horse had decided on a high-class revival of what had once been one of the most legendary places of Parisian nightlife and opened their doors for the first time to a “guest star”. Thirteen of the nineteen Crazy Horse dancers opened the evening’s entertainment. The dancers are chosen according to strict requirements – they have to be between the ages of 18 and 26, between 1m. 66 and 1m.73 in height and their figure has to form a perfect figure of eight. The highlight of the evening was the entrance of a Betty Page version of Dita. She appeared, completely naked, in a golden bath holding a glass of champagne reminding us of the erotic nights of the fifties. Many famous French celebrities came to the club, attracted by the thought of a spicy evenings entertainment. For a few hours Paris rediscovered the ancient and fascinating art of eroticism. Of course these are no longer the days when Alain Delon, Tony Curtis or Fellini dropped in, but the show still had a clamorous echo. Crazy Horse want us to know that this is just the beginning.
